Moving Parts 001 is a sculpture that works as a household object. The vase form carries an incense-burning cavity in its base, and ships with a set of incense cones in a signature scent developed by the artist. It was made in more than one finish, including a cement and an onyx version.
The piece came out of a long-standing partnership between Curative and Louis De Guzman, and extends his practice from flat work and figures into functional design.
Curative produced the edition with Louis De Guzman as his production partner, taking the object from concept to a finished piece in premium materials, including the scent and packaged incense that ship with it.
