OG Slick × Primate 5506

OG Slick built his Primate 5506 booth at DesignerCon as a staged jail yard, selling vinyl figures, resin sculptures, apparel, and skate decks on site. Curative ran production and the on-chain layer.

The installation

For DesignerCon in Anaheim, OG Slick turned his Primate 5506 booth into a jail-yard set behind a chain-link perimeter. Visitors entered through a mock ‘Visitor Entrance,’ received complimentary pat downs, and could get prison flash tattoos with a purchase.

The booth carried vinyl figures, resin sculptures, apparel, skate decks, and tote bags, many finished on site. Staff worked the room in numbered prison jumpsuits, and a custom lowrider wagon anchored the space.

What Curative did

Curative provided production assistance and staffing for the booth and handled the digital side: smart contract deployment, NFT minting, and media support. The concept and artwork were Slick’s; Curative kept the activation running across its physical and on-chain parts.
