From a design to an installed object. Curative develops the piece with the artist, engineers it to survive, and delivers it, at scale.
Curative builds objects that have to hold up under scrutiny. Cast, color-electroplated chrome that behaves like a mirror. Painted FRP engineered and internally lit for permanent outdoor life. Sculptural programs at architectural scale. The work ranges from a single seven-hundred-pound commission to a family of monuments led by a twenty-foot figure.
A lot of the work never shows up in a photograph: securing the opportunity, the contracts and settlements between an artist, a production company, and a client, coordinating manufacturing with vendors, and moving finished pieces and people between the United States and China so everyone is on the ground for the unveiling.
It starts with development alongside the artist, turning a design into something that can actually be built, cast or molded, plated or painted, lit, and stood up. On approval, Curative handles production and logistics in full, as the fabricator, and delivers the finished work to site for the install and the reveal.
